Η Protect Animals Greece συντόνισε δράση στο Μάτι με τη συμμετοχή 65 εθελοντών για τη σίτιση, εντοπισμό, διάσωση και μεταφορές σε κλινικές ζώων με στόχο την επαν-ένωση με τις οικογένειές τους, την προώθησή τους σε φιλοξενίες και υιοθεσίες ενισχύοντας την αποτελεσματική διαχείριση κρίσης των φιλοζωικών οργανώσεων και των εθελοντών τους.
Τώρα συγκεντρώνοντας πόρους από δωρητές του εξωτερικού συμπεριλαμβανομένων των οργανώσεων Humane Society International, Dogs Trust, και The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), θα καλύψει για όλα τα αδέσποτα ζώα ή ζώα που δεν έχουν πλέον οικογένεια που έχουν διασωθεί (περίπου 200 έως σήμερα), τα έξοδα για την προετοιμασία της υιοθεσίες τους. Τα έξοδα αφορούν στην συνεχόμενη ιατρική περίθαλψη, αιματολογικές εξετάσεις, στείρωση, εμβολιασμούς, τσιπάρισμα και αποπαρασίτωση.
Σημειώνεται ότι έως σήμερα 959 οικογένειες έχουν ανοίξει τα σπίτια τους για φιλοξενίες πυρόπληκτων ζώων μέσω της πλατφόρμας φιλοξενίας Dogs Voice. Από τα 200 ζώα που έχουν διασωθεί, 90 ζώα είναι ήδη σε φιλοξενίες και υπάρχει ενδιαφέρον για υιοθεσίες.

Η Protect Animals Greece ιδρύθηκε το 2017 και είναι ο πρώτος εθνικός μη κερδοσκοπικός οργανισμός για την προστασία όλων των ζώων στην Ελλάδα. Υποστηρίζεται από Διεθνή Επιτροπή Συμβούλων από τις μεγαλύτερες και πιο έμπειρες οργανώσεις προστασίας ζώων στην Ευρώπη (RSPCA, Dogs Trust, Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, The Wild at Heart Foundation, International Cat Care, TheDonkey Sanctuary, World Horse Welfare).
Tα προγράμματά της έχουν αναπτυχθεί σε τρεις στρατηγικούς πυλώνες: ευζωία, νομοθεσία, εκπαίδευση παρέχοντας μία ολοκληρωμένη λύση στα θέματα που αφορούν την καλή διαβίωση των ζώων. Λειτουργεί ως ηγετικός οργανισμός μέσα από εθνικά προγράμματα και ως ομπρέλα οργανισμός στηρίζοντας τους κατά τόπους συνεργάτες της, τους κτηνιάτρους, φιλοζωικούς οργανισμούς, παρέχοντας τεχνογνωσία, εκπαίδευση, οικονομική στήριξη.
Protect Animals Greece covers the costs for preparing animals that were injured in the fires in Greece for adoption.
Protect Animals Greece organized a mission at Mati with the participation of over 65 volunteers for feeding, spotting, rescuing and transferring injured animals to clinics, with the goal of reuniting families with their pets, promoting animals for fostering or adoption re-enforcing the successful crisis management of animal welfare organizations and their volunteers.
Now, by fundraising from donors from abroad including from Humane Society International, Dogs Trust and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), the charity will also cover the costs for adoption for all the homeless or unclaimed animals that were rescued (approximately 200 until today). Funds will cover their continuing medical care, blood tests, neutering, vaccinations, micro-chipping and de-worming.
Until today, 959 families have opened their homes to foster animals that survived the fires through the Dogs Voice Platform. From the 200 animals that were rescued, 90 animals have already been fostered and there is interest for adoptions.

To date, the immediate needs for pet food and medication have been covered for the treatment of animals for the clinics offering free care and hospitalization: Vets4Life, Attiko Hospital for Animals, Plakentia Vet Clinic, Kyanous Stavros-Irini Tampouti, Vetmedica / Vassiliki Stathopoulou, Vet Center Vassilis Papaioannou, Theodore Kanavos, Nikos Pavlopoulos, Irini Kanellopoulou, Maria Koklioti, Theodore Kanavos, Konstantina Darema, Pigi Attalidou, Adamantios Paidas, Giannis Batsas, G.
